WWDC20: Tim Cook reveals the number of spectators
During the call of the profits for the third quarter of 2020, Tim Cook has stressed the great success of the keynote of the WWDC20, event where the company unveiled iOS 14, iPadOS14, watchOS 7, tvOS 14 and macOS Big Sur.
Because of the pandemic of COVID-19, the keynote of the opening of the WWDC20 was broadcast online for the first time but, despite this, has found an enormous success.
The CEO of Apple, has revealed that the event was followed by 22 million viewers:
It’s been a busy week with a lot of ads exciting. In particular, the first WWDC totally virtual, it went very well and many developers have shared positive feedback. Some are even asking to use the same format in the future. One of the major positive aspects was that many more people have been able to participate this year, compared to a traditional live event.
Finally, Tim Cook congratulated the team at Apple for having put up a great WWDC is completely digital, followed by 22 million people.
