Amazon has released the new version of its app Alexa for iPhone, which will have as its focus the customization and the native functionality of the platform.

The new Home screen of the app now has a button Alexa place in the upper part, which can be used to activate the voice assistant, even if it remains of course the possibility of calling “Alexa” with the voice. At the bottom we have the usual toolbar with five buttons: Home, Communication, Entertainment, Devices, Other.

The previous app Alexa was conceived as a sort of dashboard daily, that was going to highlight the details and weather a selection of “Skills popular”. Now, however, all these data have been moved from the main screen to the “Other”tab.

Finally, for new users Alexa there will be a section dedicated to suggestions, so as to help users feel more at ease with the experience with Alexa on the iPhone and on the smartspeaker series Amazon Echo.

The new update of the app Alexa is available to download on the App Store, but not for all. Amazon says that the roll-out will be completed by the end of August, in fact, at the moment it is not yet available in Italy.
