OnePlus One rises with Android 10 thanks to LineageOS 17.1 | Download & Guide @BitFeedCo.

Officially launched six years ago as a flagship killer from the super report quality price, OnePlus One has remained certainly in the hearts of many developers who, since launch, have decided to support it actively. And here, thanks to the development team LineageOS, for OnePlus One is available a Custom ROM based on Android 10.

We would like to remind that LinageOS is an open source project. Although a large number of unofficial versions of LineageOS 17.1 based on Android 10 are available for months (just because anyone can download the code and modify it to suit their own needs), the development team official is only for a few weeks, that is approaching to release “official”.

At the time of writing the article on the build of LineageOS 17.1 based on Android 10 for OnePlus One has not yet been made available for download, but it should be a matter of a few hours.

Anyway, in case you’re interested, here below we leave you the installation guide that is the link to the page where you will find the build of LineageOS 17.1 for OnePlus One.

To install the ROM on your smartphone, you need the bootloader unlocked and a custom recovery such as TWRP. If you have these requirements, the step by step guide to the installation of LineageOS 17.1 can be found below:

  • Make a Nandroid backup in case of any problems (our step by step guide)
  • Download the ROM format .zip and the Google Apps format .zip
  • Restart your smartphone into recovery mode (power button plus volume up button)
  • Do the wipe of dalvik, cache, data and system
  • Flash first the ROM and then the Google Apps
  • Restart

It is good to remember that installing a Custom ROM and the previous release of the bootloader and installing a custom recovery are going to void the legal warranty of the manufacturer, but this evidently has not much importance since OnePlus One was launched six years ago.
