The indian government has decided to limit the app chinese available in the country, bannando officially a series of films very popular and also include TikTok, WeChat and Weibo.

The government has invoked section 9A of the Information Technology Act of 2009 in relation to the “emerging nature of the threats” and has decided to block 59 app chinese for security reasons because, in the light of the information available, “are engaged in activities that undermine the sovereignty and integrity of India, the defence of the territory and the security of the state and of public order“.

The indian government will block both the app that the respective websites of the services prohibited in the country. It is a bad blow to the app as TikTok, one of the most popular and downloaded in India (611 million downloads on the 2 billion total).

India has already sent a request to Apple and Google to delete from the store the following apps:
