OPPO Watch passes the FCC: the international version in arrival @BitFeedCo.

Thanks to the certification of the FCC, the new OPPO Watch is shown in a series of images that have allowed us to take a look at its aesthetics. In reality this is not nothing new, seen that the marketing of china of the smartwatch which took place last march. However, the certification of the FCC opens the doors to the international market.

There are two dimensions of the OPPO Watch, a 41 mm and 46 mm. The version of OPPO Watch certified by the FCC has as a model number OW19W12 and, thanks to the ruler to properly place, we can see that this is the variant largest 46 mm.

As said, the smartwatch has arrived in China in march, with a custom operating system and is available for CNY 1999 (roughly 260 euro). On the hardware front there is a display of 1.9 inches with curved glass on all four sides. Internally, the clock is powered from the mobile platform Snapdragon 2500 Wear, along with 8 GB of ROM, and supports a free mobile phone with eSIM.

Though as far as the hardware there might not be differences between the international versions and chinese, we believe that on the face of the software may be. We’re not risking that OPPO could adopt Wear OS, also because you do not see smartwatch squares with this OS since the first months after launch (when it was still called the Android Wear.

However, the chinese market is very different from the international one and we don’t be surprised if OPPO had developed a version appropriate for your operating system owner.

Waiting to find out more, we want to remember that on the OPPO Find X2 and X2 Pro is available to download Android 11 beta.
