Since some weeks, they arrived also in Italy the new Motorola Edge and the older brother Edge+: two high-end devices, which, as we have explained in our reviews (respectively HERE for the base model, and HERE for Edge+), we liked them a lot, with the most economical option in particular capable of offering a hardware package that is really interesting.

It seems that the house winged Lenovo’s property, however, does not stop here, and that the line Edge will be enriched soon of a new model. The data is safe, are few, and arise from the recent FCC certification of a terminal associated with the code XT2075-3: as Motorola Edge corresponds to the code ZT2075, it is easy to assume that this will be a smartphone of the same family.

For the rest, all that we know for the moment is that it will be 5G, will have a battery from 4.700 mAh, and therefore more capacious than that of the Edge, and will be equipped with Android 10.

The presence of a greater battery does not plead in favour of a model of “Lite”, and also the well-known leaker Ishan Agarwal provides contrasting indications, talking about the same SoC as the standard model, or perhaps a lower one (Snapdragon 730G). In short, it is a device that for now, we can put “around” to the Edge, not having those decisive information that allow us to place it above or below it in the hierarchy.
