It seems that the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active new generation has been certified by the FCC, pointing to its release in a relatively short time. Two codes model: SM-R845 and SM-R855. Both offer Wi-Fi connectivity and LTE, but it should be models only Wi-Fi. It is not clear what differentiates the two smartwatch emerged today, but it could be a matter of size.
The documentation reveals other juicy details interesting:
- the case has a diameter of 45 mm
- water resistance of 5 ATM (so it’s good for shower, swimming and snorkelling but not for diving)
- built according to the standard of ruggedness to military (MIL-STD-810G
- the dial is covered by a layer of Gorilla Glass
- there is a GPS receiver
This applies to R845, while the information about the R855 is scarce; even if, as we have said, should be similar.
In the pack of the smartwatch will also have a wireless charger, model code EP-OR825, which is the same 5V/1A already in the market and compatible with both generations of the Galaxy Watch Active. We conclude reporting that, according to rumors, will arrive in variants with a stainless steel case and the other most valuable with the titanium case: the schematics of the SM-R845 specifically mention its stainless steel..
