OnePlus 8 Pro update to OxygenOS 10.5.9 at a distance of just a few weeks away from the debut of the previous version, the 10.5.8, which introduced the patch of April, and improved the mode of acquisition of the photos. The update was released today to restrict the filter to Fotocromia which he did discuss in the past few days.

The solution was implemented by the same OnePlus to give to the photos a particular color effect, but it was discovered that the sensor Color Filter 5MP was able to see the infrared light from seeing through thin layers of plastic and fabric. Effect is not wanted, for sure, but that has embarrassed the brand that since the beginning, has promised to remove it.

This is the changelog of the update by the weight of 2.35 GB:

  • Camera

    • temporarily removed the filter Fotocromia to correct it. It is expected that the functionality back into June, but the precise timing is subject to the most recent official announcement.

The smartphone will receive the update via OTA in the course of the next few days. In the meantime, if you are looking just OnePlus 8 Pro, you have to know the stocks in Europe are almost depleted, a fact which has forced the brand to activate flash sales on limited quantities.
