How to install fonts hidden in macOS Catalina | Guide
Apple has recently purchased licenses for several new fonts in macOS Catalina. But since this is an optional download, several users may not even be aware of the fact that you can access it free of charge.
Reported by the Typography.Guru, the new system fonts have been licensed from Commercial Type, Klim Type Foundry Mark Simonson Studio.
How to install new fonts Mac free macOS Catalina:
1. Launch the app Font Book on a Mac.
2. Select All the fonts in the sidebar to the left.
3. Let’s browse through the list of characters and select the ones in grey that we want to install. The grey indicates that they are disabled or have not yet been downloaded.
4. Click with the right mouse button (or Ctrl + click) on the character that you want to download and choose Download [character Name] from the context menu. Alternatively, click on the Download button in the preview window of the font.
There are many, of course, you can download only the most beautiful, avoiding the foreign languages, after having seen the Preview in the appropriate section.
