Good news for all owners of Nvidia Shield TV that up to now have had problems viewing content in 4K via the app Amazon Prime Video. The problem, reported on several threads in the official forum would have resulted in a downgrade forced on the resolution of the content Amazon’s, 4K HDR 1080p SDR.

According to reports collected in the last few weeks, the Pro model 2019 recently released it would seem the most interested in, however, even if today you do not know the cause, the problemaavrebbe, however, was also applied to earlier versions of the set-top-box.

The fix is in the pipeline, at least as it highlights a member of staff in the official forum of Nvidia (link in SOURCE). A simple update of the Amazon app should be enough to bring back to the original resolution, the movies and the TV series compatible with the 4K format supported by Nvidia Shield TV.
