According to the latest data from CNBC, Apple has achieved a market share of 36.5% of the tablet market in the fourth quarter of 2019. Also, in the last few weeks there has been a sharp increase in the demand for both the iPad and the MacBook, probably for the emergency coronavirus that forces many people to stay closed in the house.
In the last three months of 2019, the iPad accounted for 36.5% of the entire tablet market, compared to 29.6 per cent recorded in the same period of 2018. The result was also achieved thanks to the new iPad’s entry-level seventh generation.
In 2020, however, analysts expect a decrease of 5% in shipments of surface tablets, even if Apple may continue to grow. In the last few weeks, in fact, thedemand of iPad and MacBook is increased , also due to the emergency coronavirus. With more and more people forced into the house, people are purchasing devices to work, study, and entertainment from home.
