Kuo: “The iPhone 12 will adopt a new objective 7P”

In a new note to investors, Ming-Chi Kuo TF Securities argues that all models of the iPhone 12 will have a lens 7P.

The iPhone 12 5.4-inch and 6.1-inch display with dual camera model and the 6.1-inch display with triple rear camera, plus the new scanner, or LiDAR, to adopt a goal 7P from 1 / 2.6-inch.

The analyst provides that only the model is 6.7-inch high-end, or theiPhone 12 Pro Max, will get a new camera module for the wide-angle lens. This model, therefore, has a sensor 1 / 1.9, an increase compared to the sensor 1 / 3.6, which we find on the iPhone 11 Pro, and the technology of displacement of the sensor.

The models of in iPhone 11 Pro are equipped with optical image stabilization for both photos and video, but only when you use the lens Wide or Telephoto. The technology of displacement of the sensor would provide a solution for this, since the stabilization is applied to the sensor of the camera itself and does not depend on any specific objective.

Kuo also predicted that at least one iPhone model 2022 will present an objective periscope, which could allow a 5x optical zoom or even a zoom optical 10x.
