Apple will donate millions of masks to health-care personnel in Europe and the United States

Apple will donate two million masks respiratory industrial , to help health care workers to fight the epidemic of coronavirus in the United States and in Europe.

The company has invited other companies to follow the example and make more donations of this kind.

This decision comes after the tech giant has noticed the health facilities in Europe and the United States are in desperate need of these individual protection devices (DPI).

Tim Cook, has confirmed the donation in a tweet which would also like to thank all the medical staff for the commitment, calling them “Heroes”.

Our teams at Apple have been working to help source supplies for healthcare providers fighting COVID-19. We’re donating millions of masks for health professionals in the US and Europe. To every one of the heroes on the front lines, we thank you.

Apple is trying in all ways to help fight the spread of COVID-19. Recently, has announced that it will close all the Apple Store until further notice, and has so far donated $ 15 million to fight the emergency coronavirus. In addition, the company has also made a donation to the Italian civil protection.
