In an internal document distributed to providers of Apple authorized service obtained by MacRumors, Apple has acknowledged that some iOS users 13 or iPadOS 13 may encounter problems with the personal Hotspot.
Apple has said in statements to the authorized service providers to expect that some customers may suffer frequent disconnections or not being able to connect to a personal hotspot. Customers can also find general problems with the performance of the data connection.
Some users have reported problems with personal Hotspot already from iOS 13.1.2 and, as a temporary solution, it is recommended to deactivate and then reactivate the function. It is likely that you’ll get a patch in a future update of the software, but it is not clear if the problem was already fixed in iOS 13.4 since the latest release notes of the GM do not mention any fix about it.
Apple advises customers to always keep up to date their software and said that this is not a hardware problem.
