Nubia seem to be interested in competing also in the field of fast-charging: if OPPO had already amazed with the SuperVOOC to 65W, it seems that Nubia is ready to go beyond, touching the wall of the 80W.

To suggest this indiscretion is none other than the president and co-founder of Nubia Ni Fei, who has posted a picture on Weibo – that you see in this article, we show that one of the upcoming devices of the company, while it is charging 9.6 V/8.4, i.e. a little more than 80W.

At the moment it is not clear what the smartphone depicted in the picture, but it seems that this could be the next Nubia Red Magic 5G, a top of the range dedicated to the world of gaming, equipped with the powerful SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 and a battery of 5,000 mAh.

The previous rumor suggested that the Red Magic 5G would be distributed with a charger 55W in the package, but at this point we can assume that the smartphone will be able to go beyond, and perhaps thanks to an adapter sold separately. We can only wait for more information.
