Samsung Galaxy S9 and its Plus variant should receive the latest version of Android within the next few weeks, at least according to the information provided by the Italian division at the end of 2019.

However, for the moment, the former top of the range of the Korean company have continued to receive updates based on the Android Pie 9.0, as shown by the latest build released from a few hours in France (brand BOUYGUES).

The innovations introduced by the new firmware, which can be identified with the build G96*FXXS7CTA1, are the same for both the devices and include only an improvement in the security of Android thanks to the latest patch of January 2020 (HERE all the details supplied by the manufacturer)

The same update for the Galaxy Note 8, smartphone with a pen, now an old man of two generations, who has begun to receive the security patches of January 2020 starting from Germany. The firmware, in this case, bears the initials N950FXXS8DSL3 and can be downloaded and installed manually using the tool Odin.

The distribution of both updates will continue during the course of the next few weeks, also reaching our Country.
