THX wants to expand his Spatial Audio to the world of the smartphone: it is a protocol for audio “spherical” 360 degree which makes for a more enveloping and immersive stereo speakers and surround. The technology was first announced nearly two years ago, but for now it’s not widespread: among partners, the most famous figure on the Razer, but that is also the owner of THX same.

Side smartphones, it seems that things do not go so much the better. The first and for now the sole partner of this adventure is ZmBIZI, a manufacturer of one-end smartphone low-mid unveiled at CES 2020, and only available in the USA, which tries to attract users by promising money in the card debt in exchange for a tracking constant activity of the user. The technical specifications of the smartphone are the following:

  • IPS Display, FHD 1080p 6,23″
  • SoC MediaTek Helio P70
  • 4 GB RAM, 128 GB of internal storage
  • Dual cam back from 12 + 5 MP
  • Cam front 8 MP
  • Battery 3.450 mAh
  • Android 9 Pie

It is not clear if you need particular hardware to enable the Spatial Audio, a feature that may limit the spread in the case of interest on the part of the producers; but in view of the technical specifications of the smartphone on which he made his debut seems unlikely.
