Sony is perhaps the only company that in recent years it has concentrated in developing smartphone with compact dimensions that reflect the needs of a slice of users who are becoming more and more restricted. In this regard, and staying in Geekbench, we inform you that the japanese giant has tested the new Sony Xperia ZG Compact.

Although we have never heard of it until now, having already been tested on a benchmark test of business, it is very likely that this smartphone is going to be presented.

Unfortunately, Geekbench is not the best benchmark to discover the technical information of a smartphone. In fact, the only things that we have discovered on the account of Sony Xperia ZG Compact are the presence of:

With regard to the scores obtained, in principle, halved (multi-core) compared to the current top of the range equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, HiSilicon Kirin 960 and Samsung Exynos 8895.

In short, Sony has created a smartphone with the technical characteristics from the top of the range if we were in 2014. We don't know why, in 2017, the japanese giant has decided to adopt a SoC so dated that, while having performance very interesting, has been the focus of much controversy because of its excessive superheat.

This particular problem may be even more evident on the Sony Xperia ZG Compact, from the moment that the little space given the overall size may not allow a good dissipation of the heat.

In any case, we await the presentation of the Sony Xperia ZG Compact during the upcoming IFA 2017 Berlin which, remember, will officially begin on the 1st of September (even if the conference presentations will start already the previous day).
